Terms and Conditions for Good Massage & Spa
By booking an appointment with Good Massage & Spa, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. General
All massage treatments are provided in a professional setting for relaxation and general wellbeing purposes. Services are not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.
2. Bookings
Appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed once successfully booked through the website, booking platform, or approved booking channel. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their booking details are correct at the time of booking.
3. Arrival Time
Clients are encouraged to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before their appointment. Late arrival may reduce the treatment time in order to avoid delays for other clients. The full booking fee may still apply.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We ask that clients provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests where possible. Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged a cancellation fee. Missed appointments without notice may be charged up to 100% of the booking value.
5. No Shows
If a client does not attend a booked appointment and no notice is given, the full treatment fee may be charged. Future bookings may also require advance payment.
6. Payments
All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment may be required at the time of booking or at the completion of the treatment, depending on the booking setup. Prices, treatment durations, and service offerings may change at any time without prior notice.
7. Refunds
Refunds are generally not provided for completed treatments, change of mind, missed appointments, or late cancellations. Where a service issue arises, this will be reviewed fairly on a case-by-case basis.
8. Health and Medical Information
Clients must disclose any relevant health conditions, recent injuries, allergies, skin sensitivities, pregnancy, recent surgeries, or other medical concerns before treatment begins. This helps ensure that services are delivered safely and appropriately.
We reserve the right to refuse, shorten, or modify a treatment if it is considered unsuitable, unsafe, or not in the best interest of the client or therapist.
9. Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, please contact us before booking. Some treatments may need to be adjusted, deferred, or declined depending on your circumstances.
10. Illness and Infection
If you are unwell, have a contagious illness, fever, vomiting, flu symptoms, or a skin infection, please reschedule your appointment. For the wellbeing of all clients and staff, we reserve the right to decline treatment where illness or infection is present.
11. Client Comfort and Pressure Preference
Your comfort is important during every treatment. Pressure can be adjusted on request, and clients are encouraged to communicate clearly if they would prefer lighter or firmer pressure during the session.
12. Professional Boundaries
All treatments are strictly professional. Any inappropriate behaviour, comments, language, or requests will result in the immediate termination of the treatment. In these circumstances, the full fee will still apply and future bookings may be refused.
13. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service where necessary for health, safety, wellbeing, hygiene, professional boundary, or operational reasons.
14. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while attending appointments. Good Massage & Spa is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items brought to the premises.
15. Gift Vouchers, Packages, and Promotions
If gift vouchers, prepaid packages, or special offers are made available, they must be used according to the terms provided at the time of purchase. Unless required by law, they are not redeemable for cash and may not be refundable.
16. Website and Booking Information
We aim to ensure all service descriptions, pricing, and booking information are accurate. However, we reserve the right to correct errors, update content, and change services or prices at any time.
17. Privacy
Personal information provided through the website, booking system, contact forms, or consultations will be used only for appointment management, service delivery, communication, and related business purposes. Information will be handled with care and will not be sold to third parties.
18. Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time without prior notice. The latest version published on the website will apply.
